More bowls

Yesterday was a pretty good day for bowls.  I really thought that Penn State might have a chance late.  But for watching most of the games were great.  Well let's get on with today's gmaes
First up is the Cotton Bowl.  It pits Ole Miss against Texas Tech.  Texas Tech has a hig powered offense and a much improved defense.  I think the Red Raider quarterback will be the best pro out of all the much hyped quaterbaacks this year.  Ole Miss is a team that is dangerous.  They have a strong defense and quaterback Jevon Snead is improving every week.  Jevon Snead is very capable of holding his own with the Big 12.  His freshman year, he played at Texas, he split time with Colt McCoy before eventually losing his job to him.  I really think this Ole Miss can win this game but i have to pick Tech.  So did Lys. And here is what John had to say:
"Texas Tech has been insulted multiple times this year.  I think they will be looking to take it out on someone.  Graham Harrell will have his favorite target back too.  Ole MIss did take oout an unsuspecting Florida, but I don't think they have enough to stop the Texas Tech surgical air attack.  Calling this one for Texas tech."
Next up is the Liberty Bowl.  We get to see Kentucky verse East Carolina.  I like East Carolina.  They have tons of athletes on both sides of the ball.  Kentucky has not had many high points this season.  Quaterback Randall Cobb has been back and forth.  Kentucky is a SEC team and still has to run that gauntlet.  But I picked against this East Carolina team one too many times I am goin to say ECU along with Elysa And John.
Last up for tonight is the game I have been looking forward to.  The Sugar Bowl between Utah and Alabama will be interesting.  Alabama is big and powerful.  Utah is small and quick.  I think that Utah can keep this close but Alabama is too big and too strong, i am taking the Alabama.  Elysa picked Alabama. And now for John's take:
"Really? SEC and Mountain West.  The nation's number one team for most ofthe year gets to play what essentially is a preseason scrimmage.  Alabama has been suspect all year, but they were suspect against good teams.  Utah has been really impressive all year, but they have been impressive against mediocre and sometimes awful teams.  Texas Tech should be playing this game.  I am calling this for Alabama.
Thanks again for checking in with me before your day gets started.  I could very well lose every pick today.  Ole miss is great. Kentucky is from the SEC. And you never know Utah, upset city!  Live like no one is watching and get to work.
