Happy NEW BEER!

What a day for bowl games!  The last two days have been exciting.  Despite the ass-whipping that LSU put on Georgia Tech.  Today will be great for football.  Big game between Penn State and Penn State.  I hope that it doesn't turn into a blow out.  Also I think the Big 10 will win a bowl game but you have to stay tuned to see which one.  I didn't have time to prepare a whole big extravagant layout.  I am going to struggle through this I didn't leave the bar until 3 in the morning. 

The Outback Bowl is a SEC verse Big 10 match up that actually doesn't make me laugh.  The South Carolina Gamecocks will be facing the Iowa Hawkeyes.  I cannot think of anything good to say about South Carolina's offense.  There defense is stout but gave up a lot of rushing yards twice this at the end of this year including over 200 to Florida.  I don't know if you know but Iowa runs the ball and runs it well.  Shonn Greene, who won the Doak Walker award, is one of the best in the country.  I am picking Iowa, that's right a Big 10 team. John and Elysa love the cock.  They picked South Carolina.

The capitol One bowl is another Big 10 verse SEC match-up and this one could be a laugher.  John wrote some pretty good stuff on this one so here you go:

"Two of the nation's best running backs meet for a head to head ground and pound game.  Michigan State is over matched talent wise and should be easily handled by the preseason number one Bulldogs.  The Spartans should make it a good game for the first half until the Bulldogs show once again that Big Ten teams shouldn't be matched up with SEC teams in the post season.  Calling this one for Georgia"

Next up is the Gator Bowl.  Nebraska verse Clemson.  I am going to use one of John's saying here. Who really gives a fuck.  Really!  This would be like watching a slap fight between to homosexual retards.  I am picking this bowl because i made a vow to pick every bowl game.  I am picking Clemson so is Lys. John picked Nebraska.

The Rose Bowl is possibly my favorite bowl.  I have strong memories of watching the game and the parade with my father.  This bowl is the reason I am a Michigan fan.  My dad is a USC fan and we would watch this game religiously.   I hope Penn Sate can keep it close.  I, like most of the nation, don't think the Nittany Lion have a chance or do I.  But I am rooting for Penn State.  I have had a few good days picking games which might have made me cocky or made me feel I can afford to miss this one,but I am picking PENN STATE.  Fuck you USC!  Lys picked the Trojans and here is what John had to say:

"Penn State has probably been overrated all season and USC has probably been underrated all season.  (Yes, you read that right)  USC deserves to be right where they are in the bowls, but probably deserve a better opponent.  (I'm looking at you Texas.)  They drew Penn State though whose offense probably won't be very effective against the brick wall that is the Trojan defense.  I am calling this for USC.

The Orange Bowl should be a good one.  The ACC verse the Big East.  Virginia Tech has looked pretty good this year despite switching quarterbacks back and forth.  I really like this high powered Cincinnati offense though.  Rudy Gilyard at wide receiver is a speed demon with great hands.  I am calling this one for Cincinnati.  Elysa picked Virginia Tech. Now from John:

"The 'Oh, who gives a fuck!' BCS bowl.  A very strong team from the Big East will be playing the ACC champion.  HOO fucking RAY.  Why couldn't they give this spot to Boise and TCU?  That would have made a more interesting bowl than Cincinnati and VaTech.  Its a toss up which of these two conferences is the worst of the BCS conferences.  I am picking this one for VaTech."

Well those are the games for today.  One has already started.  I really have a feeling I am going to have a shit day on the picks because I have been doing so well the last three days.  Anyway Happy New Year and live like no one is watching.
