Rosey condition!

I couldn't be more excited for tonight's game in Eugene, Oregon. This is a winner take all battle for the Pac-10 title and a birth in the Rose Bowl, not to mention it doesn't involve the USC Trojans. The game kicks off championship weekend and ends the seven years domination of USC on the Pac-10. So here is the break down of tonight's game and the kick-off of what will be a fantastic college football weekend.

Oregon State at Oregon- This is not a new situation for the Oregon State Beavers. Last year headed into the Oregon "Civil War" the Beavers where in the driver's seat for the Pac-10 championship. A win and they were in. But that was when the wheels fell off for Oregon State. Jeremiah Masoli and the Ducks rolled into Corvailles and blew the doors off the Beavers. Masoli and the high powered Oregon offense racked up 65 points and 694 points in total offense. The worst part for Oregon State is that Oregon is the same offense. But the Beavers were missing two key components in the offense that carried them all year. Brothers Jacquizz and James Rodgers were both out with injury. They were the cornerstones for a dominant offense. Both brothers are happy and healthy and Jacquizz is the second leading rusher in the Pac-10. In fact their is a Beaver in the top 2 of every offensive category in the conference. But offense wasn't the problem last year and it won't be the problem tonight. It is defense. Oregon will be able to impose their will on the defense of the Beavers. It will be a shoot out again but I am taking Oregon. Lys, Jess, and John all agree.

There is also an NFL game on tonight. It is the Bills and the Jets, and it is being played in Toronto. The Bills are improving and the Jets seem to be regressing. It will be an interesting match-up. Live like no one is watching and enjoy the early weekend of football!
