Don't blame the BCS!

Oh whiny Longhorn fans please calm down.  I know that you are all quick to blame the BCS for you absence from the Big 12 championship game.  But you have to understand, although it is a flawed system, it is not its fault that you are not in the conference championship game.  It is actually the Big 12's fault.  Oh believe me I will explain
The Big 12 is the only conference that chooses it's champion in this kind of tie in this manner.  If Texas were in the SEC or the ACC they would be in.  In those conferences the tie-breaker would be the highest ranked BCS team unless the two teams where within 5 spots of each other.  If they were within 5 spots of each other in the rankings then it would come down to head to head.  The Big 12 is the only conference with a championship game that decides their tie-breaker this way.  So liberal whiny Longhorn fans calm down and look inside your own conference.  Why would you let voters from California and New York decide your destiny?
I definitely do not want the BCS to escape without a blemish however.  I think the BCS is a crap system.  How in the hell can you let a whole season go to waste.  If head to head wins do not matter why do we play the season.  The BCS has ultimately rendered the regular season useless.  These coached and contributors, along with the computers, have made a mockery of the college football season that I love.  How can coach mack Brown explain to his team that two teams they beat, and beat convincingly, are playing for his conferences championship.
It has been a long college football season.  There is still alot of excitement left. Live like no one is watching and jump over others in your own BCS polls.
